August 26th marks the seventh anniversary of the day Eddie Joe Lloyd was freed from a Michigan prison after serving 17 years for a murder he did not commit. Lloyd, who was mentally ill, allegedly gave a false confession to police before his conviction. Sadly, he died after just two years of freedom. Read more about his case.
