August 31 – Five years ago on this day, Clarence Harrison walked out of a Georgia prison a free man for the first time in more than 17 years. Harrison is one of seven men exonerated by DNA testing in Georgia, all seven cases involved eyewitness mis-identifications. Read more on this case.
