  1. Very powerful and truthful statement.

  2. An interesting concept… Personally, it seems misdirected, as these shows watched by Black audiences don’t seem to be really that significant. There will always be shows of this stature on the airwaves, so long as there are people to watch them (of all races). The “three steps back” should focus on the status of education and family values (the real problem, of which the choice in television programming is the symptom)…

  3. How I long for the days of The Fresh Prince, The Cosby Show, A Different World and Family Matters. It would be great if my son didn’t have to see them as reruns of days gone by!

  4. GREAT CARTOON!

  5. I hear you Dave C., Unfortunately this is the reality of some family dynamics. People are tuned in because they can relate. So please let’s not judge- we will only lose that way- Instead ask yourself what are YOU doing to enhance the concept of education and family values in your community? Don’t talk about it, BE about it! Otherwise you are held responsible just as the media. P.S. No Offense….

    Let’s be pro-active
Let’s formulate the remedy for the Symptoms!

  6. Well I have not been a TV watcher in 15 years, so the meaning of this totally escapes me.
